Quality is key and a central component to everything we do, ensuring our customers have peace of mind their product will arrive on time, to the correct specification. Each of our products has full traceability; from raw material sourcing through to the feeding bowl or trough.
We have invested throughout the group into our quality assurance programming, utilising the latest testing capabilities in-house.
Quality Assurance Certification
We set ourselves stringent feed safety and quality standards, and we constantly strive to exceed them. This is evident in the number of quality certifications we have achieved through industry bodies including UFAS, FAMI-QS and BETA NOPS.

The Institute of Global Food Security
Devenish has a long-term partnership with the world-renowned Institute of Global Food Security, based at Queens University Belfast. This partnership includes a member of staff who is focussed on developing new and novel testing regimes that can be brought into Devenish in the future.
Food Fortress
Devenish was a founding member of the Food Fortress programme, aimed at securing the supply chain for feed on the island of Ireland. Today the programme is a network of 80 feed manufacturers throughout the island of Ireland, with a strategic programme of testing for contaminants. The current testing regimes covers over 6 million tonnes of feed production annually.
